2026 Capital Levy

The Lynden School District Board of Directors unanimously approved Resolution #03-26: Facilities, Safety & Technology Levy to place a funding initiative before voters in the April 28, 2026 special election. The proposed levy would allow for funds to be collected for:

  • Bernice Vossbeck Elementary School- Expansion & Longevity
  • Isom Elementary School- Expansion & Longevity
  • Lynden Academy- Facility Acquisition & Renovation
  • Facilities, Safety, and Maintenance Improvement- Districtwide
  • Instructional Technology Replacement

The levy focuses on extending the life of existing facilities, reducing reliance on temporary solutions, and avoiding significantly larger costs in the future. The levy would collect funds from 2027 through 2030, with projects completed over that four-year period.
