LHS MLK Jr Assembly a Focus on Belonging

Lynden High School’s Que Onda Lynden club led a Martin Luther King Jr. assembly for all LHS students this week. The event highlighted the theme of belonging and the concept that there’s always more to a person than what appears on the surface. Student speakers connected King with other leaders, such as Cesar Chavez, and challenged the students to choose curiosity over judgment while encouraging small acts of service.
