LHS Bond-Focused Walking Tours with the Superintendent

As the Nov. 4 Lynden Schools bond vote approaches, David VanderYacht, superintendent, is hosting a range of walking tours and Q&A sessions on upcoming Saturdays.

The walking tours at Lynden High School are designed for community members to better understand the needs driving the bond request. All sessions begin at 9 a.m. at the LHS main office and are scheduled for Saturdays in October (Oct. 4, 11, 18 and 25) and Nov. 1.

Hosting Superintendent VanderYacht is a great option for service clubs, business roundtables, neighborhood gatherings or any small group of people who want to learn more. He’s currently scheduled to visit the Lynden Community/Senior Center, Mt. Baker Rotary, Lions International Club, and would love to schedule more visits this fall, which can be done by calling 360-354-4443 or emailing lps-superintendent@lynden.wednet.edu.
