Thanks to a grant through the Pacific Science Center, all three Lynden elementary schools experienced an exciting mobile field trip—brought directly to the campuses by Science on Wheels.
Students were immersed in the “Blood and Guts” theme, learning how organ systems work together through a dynamic assembly. Classes also enjoyed a 45-minute hands-on classroom workshop and visited the library where they interacted with pop-up science exhibits. These three experiences all worked together to spark curiosity and deepen understanding of how the human body works together as a system.
This no-cost experience provided diverse and differentiated learning opportunities that brought science to life in unforgettable ways.
