A Lesson in Sportsmanship

Lynden High School boys and girls basketball players and cheerleaders visited Fisher, Isom and Bernice Vossbeck elementaries this week to lead a sportsmanship assembly at each of the schools. The players and cheerleaders split into three groups—many of the athletes returned to the elementary school they attended—to work with a boys basketball coach to share about the importance of sportsmanship for all students. The athletes then excited the students by playing the elementary students in basketball.
