Fisher Students Spearhead Winter Wear Drive

The Fisher Student Council saw a need and banded together with the rest of the school to fill it. The students spearheaded a student-lead Winter Wear Drive, inviting the school community to donate coats, scarves, gloves and winter shoes that were then donated to the Lynden Schools’ Family Community Services so that those in the community could have a better chance of staying warm this winter. The students created flyers, hung posters, created advertisements and demonstrated leadership in pulling together this community-minded effort to help fellow students.
