A Dairy Learning Time

Did you know it takes seven oranges to equal the amount of calcium in eight ounces of milk? That’s what Lynden Academy K-5 students learned thanks to a visit from Whatcom County’s Dairy Ambassadors, who also shared about the importance of farming, and the benefits of dairy cows. The fact that former LA student and current LHS senior Tessa Schouten serves as an ambassador was the cream on top.
