Honoring Lynden Staff

The Washington State Association of School Psychologists honored two Lynden Schools psychologists with Best Practices awards. Robin Latham was honored with a 2023 Best Practices in Intervention award. She was noted for ensuring preschool families were welcomed and had access to resources, her problem-solving approach, bringing positivity to the school and tailoring intervention goals with her school team, outside agencies and key stakeholders. Jim Scarborough was honored with 2023 Best Practices in Consultation. He was noted for his wealth of knowledge, focus on student strengths while instilling hope and confidence in families, having a calm and reassuring presence, being a good listener, demonstrating legal and technical knowledge and engaging well with families and co-workers.
