Launching Toward Engineering

Fifth graders in Ruby Zamora’s Fisher Elementary class learned about engineering design to create pumpkin launchers. The project encouraged creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration as students designed and built a launching device strong enough to propel pieces of candy through the air toward a target.
