Welcome to the Lynden High School Library
Using Destiny to Search the Catalog and Place Holds
Placing HOLDS on books:
- Login to Destiny in the upper right hand corner of the page.
- Your username is your last name followed by your first initial, for example: mincklera
- Your password is your student ID number with – OR – without the zero in front of it, for example: 0604564 -OR- 604564 You might need to try both ways.
- If you have trouble logging in, and haven’t logged into Destiny before, you may have to create a new account by selecting the “Create New Account” tab.
- Search for books title, author or subject.
- If you find one you like, place it on “Hold” and Mrs. Minckler will get it ready for you.

Whatcom County Library Services (WCLS) ConnectEd (eBook and Audiobook Information)
The ConnectEd program allows you to access databases, eBooks and audiobooks. You may access eBooks and audiobooks on your computer or on your cellphone. WCLS partners with Washington Anytime Library.
First, you will need to login to the WCLS website. They will ask you to confirm your account information.
You may have to designate your local library branch, which is, The Whatcom County Library System.
You will need to download the free Libby APP from the APP Store if you are wanting to download books to your cellphone.

Your Student ID number is: LY plus your student ID (without the zero). Example: LY604567
Your PIN number is: 1234

This site is geared towards families. This site contains many book and movie reviews. Only selected book reviews are given.
Lexile
Search for books by your Lexile level (reading level). Ask the librarian, or your English teacher if you need help determining your Lexile level.
