The Lynden High School FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) students earned the Gold Seal Chapter award at the state leadership conference in Spokane last week, part of an exceptional showing from the Lynden contingent.
During the annual state competition, Luke Bright captured second in computer applications, Grace Hargrove earned third in retail management, Caleb Rus finished third in computer problem solving and Sebastian Uribe grabbed fourth in securities and investments. All four students qualified to attend the national conference in San Antonio in June. The Gold Seal award was based on submitting an annual chapter report and participating in national chapter activities throughout the year. The FBLA continent also included FBLA president Brady Stewart, vice president Nissa Braun, Kase Namminga, Declan Hurley and Joshua Kelly.
