School Supplies & Start of School

View the school supplies for the 2025-2026 school year via this link. Kids can bring their supplies to the Meet the Teacher & School Supply Drop-Off event or on the first day of school.

For families who need assistance with school supplies, and additional community resources, the Lynden School District’s Family Community Services will host a school supply distribution event; click here for the event flyer.

PLANNING FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR

• 2025-2026 School Calendar: Click here for the academic calendar including waiver days, holiday breaks, and more.
  
• School Supply Distribution- Family Services: Families in need of assistance and resources can attend the School Supply Distribution Day August 21 from 9:00am-1:00pm at the Main Street Campus located at 516 Main Street. See the attached flyer for additional resources and organizations who will be in attendance including Skagit Legal Aide, Sea Mar, Goodwill, Project Hope, etc. 

• Skyward Opens & Assigned Teachers: Skyward will open to families on Friday, August 22 after 4:00pm. This is when you will see your child’s teacher for the new school year. 

• Meet the Teacher & School Supply Drop-Off: BVE will open to families to meet your new teachers, visit classrooms and drop-off school supplies on Wednesday, August 27 from 2:30-3:15pm

• First Day of School
  + Thursday, August 28 is the 1st Day for Grades 1-5, it is a full day of school 8:55am-3:05pm
  + Wednesday, September 3 is the 1st Day for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten, it is a half-day of school 8:55am-12:05pm

• Bus Garage: If you plan to have your child take the bus next year, call and make the arrangements now to help the bus routes and pick-up/drop-off times get set. They are open throughout the summer and can be reached at 360.354.5469.
