Lynden Schools has a variety of ways to get involved in the education of Lynden students. For those interested in ways to help either support student learning or get involved in the process, check out these options:

Parent Teacher Associations (PTA): To support the educational needs of students and promote family engagement and strong partnerships between schools and the community, contact your local school to join the PTA.

Be The One: Local mentors meet with students at Lynden High and Lynden Middle schools once per month as a way to support students. For details on the ever-expanding program, visit

Instructional Materials Committee: This committee covers materials used in the classroom setting. For more details, contact the director of teaching and learning at 360-354-4443, ex. 6115.

LHS Career & Technical Education Committees: Multiple advisory committees in all CTE curricular areas meet three times each year. For details, contact the CTE director at 360-354-4401, ex. 5205. 

Lynden Music Boosters: With the goal of supporting and promoting music programs throughout the district, at all grade levels, the boosters meet once per month at the high school. Contact for details.

Migrant Education Parent Advisory Council (M-PAC): All parents of migrant students quality for the M-PAC, which makes recommendations regarding migrant programs during meetings three times per year. For details, contact the migrant office at 360-354-8714.
