Important SEBB Employee Benefit Information

Annual Open Enrollment is Oct. 26 - Nov. 23.

  • This is your chance to make changes to plans for the 2021 Calendar Year, including:
    -Change Medical, Dental or Vision Plans (or waive medical)
  • -Enroll in Supplemental Long Term Disability or Supplemental Life Insurance
    -Enroll/remove dependents
    -Enroll/re-enroll in Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) or Health Savings Account (HSA)
  •  
  • If you are happy with your current coverage, you will NOT have to re-enroll. If you choose not to make changes during open enrollment, your current plan elections and covered dependents will carry over to next year. Once open enrollment closes, those choices will be in effect for the full 2021 calendar year.
  • -You may be asked to re-attest to a spousal surcharge or tobacco use surcharge. If you receive a notice in the mail from SEBB requesting re-attestation, do NOT ignore it.
    -You can also find out if you are required to re-attest using SEBB My Account. Starting October 26, log in to SEBB My Account, click "My attestations," and follow the instructions.

    -Under “How Do I Learn More” you can also find information for upcoming virtual benefits fairs, and webinars hosted by the various carriers and vendors.

Newly Eligible Employees

If you were recently hired and are enrolling outside of Annual Open Enrollment, follow the Newly Eligible Enrollment Instructions.

Special Open Enrollment

If you have a qualifying life event like birth/adoption, marriage, or a dependent is losing coverage, you may be eligible to add or change coverage outside of Open Enrollment.

Monthly Premiums
-The medical premiums listed in SEBB enrollment materials (and online) deducted from your paycheck monthly
-Local district pooling now covers Dental, Vision, Life, LTD and most of the medical cost. 
-Dental, Vision, Life and basic LTD premiums are paid 100% by the district.

Secure Access Washington - click the green "SIGN UP" button to create an account first. This becomes your login to enroll in SEBB benefits. (If you already have a SAW account, go directly to SEBB to login.)
