BVE parents and families are an important aspect of our school. There are a number of ways to engage in the classroom, with grade-level activities such as fieldtrips and for school-wide events such as Marathon Club. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Classroom volunteers:<\/strong> Contact your student’s teacher to see if they are interested in having classroom volunteers. Some types of volunteer roles include: classroom events, prepare items for classroom parties, copying\/project support, classroom store, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

School-approved volunteers:<\/strong> The safety and welfare of our students is our primary focus, thus, the school district conducts a criminal history check on all volunteers. Classroom activities, fieldtrips and events where adults are responsible for children require an approved volunteer application. To be an approved volunteer, please complete these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Complete the application paperwork – volunteer application (English- printable),<\/a> volunteer application (English- fillable)<\/a> or volunteer application (Spanish)<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Complete the online “What Every Volunteer Must Be Told<\/a>” training module<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Print and include the Certificate of Completion at the end of the training module<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Submit the application packet with the Certificate of Completion – completed packets may be turned in to the BVE Office<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
