Highly Capable Students' Program Committee
The Lynden School District is forming a committee to provide input on a K-12 program for highly capable students.  This is a state initiative with guidelines to inform the district's work.  The district is inviting interested community members, parents, and students to participate. The committee size is limited.
If you are interested in serving on this committee, please complete this application.
The committee meetings will be held from 5:30-7:30 PM on the following dates:  February 6, 2014, February 20, 2014, March 6, 2014, and March 20, 2014.  A final recommendation will be made to the School Board by May 2014.  For more information, call the District Office at 354-4443 ext. 6116. 
 
Superintendent Advisory Committee
We are looking for volunteers to come together to discuss current school issues and topics.  For further detail on topics and meeting dates, please read our Superintendent Advisory Committee letter.  If you are interested in serving on this committee, contact the district office at 354-4443 ext. 6117.
 
Instructional Materials Committee
Meets quarterly at 4:00 P.M.  If you are interested in serving on this committee, contact the Director of Teaching & Learning at 354-4443 ext. 6115.
 
LHS Career & Technical Education Committees
Multiple advisory committees in all CTE curricular areas meet three times a year.  For more information contact the CTE director at 354-4401 ext. 5205.

Volunteer one hour a week to bridge the gap in a student’s life and build hope for their future. Over the span of one school year experience first-hand how mentoring cultivates growth in your student. Lynden Music Boosters
Goal: to support and promote music programs throughout the district at all grade levels.  Meets at 7:00 P.M. on the second Tuesday of each month during the school year.  Music Boosters can be reached at lyndenmusicboosters@hotmail.com.
 
Migrant Education Parent Advisory Council (M-PAC)

All parents of migrant students qualify for the M-PAC.  The M-PAC makes recommendations regarding the migrant program.  The M-PAC meets three times during the school year.  For information contact the Migrant Office at 354-8714.
