Highly Capable Students' Program Committee
Lynden School District is forming a committee to provide input on a
K-12 program for highly capable students. This is a state initiative
inform the district's work. The district is inviting interested
community members, parents, and students to participate. The committee
size is limited.

committee meetings will be held from 5:30-7:30 PM on the following
dates: February 6, 2014, February 20, 2014, March 6, 2014, and March
20, 2014. A final recommendation will be made to the School Board by

are looking for volunteers to come together to discuss current school

Be The One Mentor Program
Volunteer one hour a week to bridge the gap in a student’s life and build hope for their future. Over the span of one school year experience first-hand how mentoring cultivates growth in your student. Your friendship, support and encouragement will help a student navigate toward their next education and/or work decisions. Be the One

Lynden Music Boosters
to support and promote music programs throughout the district at all
grade levels. Meets at 7:00 P.M. on the second Tuesday of each month
during the school year. Music Boosters can be reached at
Migrant Education Parent Advisory Council (M-PAC)
parents of migrant students qualify for the M-PAC. The M-PAC makes
recommendations regarding the migrant program. The M-PAC meets three
